I'm by far from the Jack expert as to truly be a Jack fan you had to be in the clubs dancing to it in the mid to late 80's i feel. Because of my age I didn't get that chance. While I tend to like more futuristic Chicago house like Virgo Four and Detroit techno more specifically I do very much respect the house of this period as long as it deep. IMO they got the individual sounds right here and it has that specific fun feel. I like the point in the track where it respectfully mentions some of the Chi-town hero's of yesterday like only a Jackin track could get away with so well. Then mentions Legowelt and others of this generation are carrying that legacy nearly 30 years on. I think We Made the Jack gets it right.
