One of the very best jazz albums of all time. Great songs, great playing, amazing rhythm section. Benny Bailey trumpet solo on Compared to What makes you believe again in God and Jesus and all the saints in heaven. And Cold Duck Time is just magical. One of those rare albums where the stars just all aligned and everything sounds fresh and surprising and perfect. Buy it. Listen to it. Live it. Be it. Amen and hallelujah.
