what can i say , the first lhasa record was released by ourselves (Kris and me) on 500 copies and recorded at studio square Brussels , engineered by Ludo Camberlin ( neon judgement /the weathermen) , for me it was kind of a test record and what was laid down here came to full fruitition on The Attic , it was the only multitrack tape record i made as the rest of the Lhasa releases were recorded without overdubs as i found that to be a more spontanious approach, mainly adhesive of lhasa volume one was the closest to the music i liked , kind of a hybrid of numan , john foxx but the rythms of detroit and ebm , maybe one of the first examples of cold wave techno
