For me sound is absolutely fantastic and dinamic of the vinyl is out of this world. Much much better then cd in my opinion. Don't know if i just lucked out but i can recommend this to anyone that wants this album on vinyl. This is amazing press!

in my opinion the sound is really not that bad 🤷‍♂️ it‘s not an audiophile record but it‘s an improvement to the cd. also it‘s a dead quiet pressing with zero surface noise.

I am really sad to say but to me, this sounds flat and dull. Put on any superb sounding record (Tone Poet, Mofi, Acoustic Sound Series) before/after this and the lack of dynamic will be obvious.

Damn it. Why doesn't this sound good through my Vdub soundwagon vinyl killer?

I’ve read comments stating ‘it sounds like an mp3’.

Now i’m wondering if the problem is your lo-fi system or your ears.

This reissue sounds impressive to me. Both vinyls were a little dirty. After a single cleaning they was noiseless, clear and powerful.
The aqua blue is pretty amazing.

Nothing to complain to me. Glad to have it.

Don’t know what any of you are talking about in the comments. I have 2 pioneer csr590’s and running a technics TT through a pioneer receiver as well...sounds fantastic. Maybe y’all need to clean your needles or upgrade from a crosley LOL

I am not sure about setup of people below who complain about sound, but to me, so far, it sounds good. I could imagine it even better, but I don't hear any particular issue with the sound. Its quiet without static or pops. Just music. (Technics SL-1500C, Goldring 2500, 1000€ phono)

Same thoughts as those below, the pressing sounds a bit muddy. When the bass comes through the muddiness, it does sound nice. It is listenable and the aqua colour is fantastic. Happy that I got it, but probably will listen to a different pressing or even Spotify. Maybe wet washing the vinyl might help, but I'm doubtful.

Edit: Reading other Vinyl pressing reviews for Meteora, it seems the culprit really is the digital mastering. So, if you're looking for vinyl for Meteora, I would think this sounds like the previous releases. All releases were pressed from Czech Republic. (The OG US version doesn't state the country it was pressed in)

I bought this from a store in the US. Not sure if my store was just an outlier, but this is definitely not being sold in Europe only.

This and Tatu's 200 KM/H in the Wrong Lane were my RSD nostalgia pics and to my surprise the Tatu sounded a lot better than this, didn't need to spread its short album length across 4 sides too
