Lisa Stansfield came back full force with her second album, "Real Love". Really hard to top the perfection of "Affection" and this doesn't do that but instead shows another side of Lisa - a more sophisticated, classy, adult, glossy side. And that is awesome here, because even second best for Lisa (and I do consider this her second best album) is totally out of the stratosphere for most artists. "Change" is catchy and got some great remixes by Frankie Knuckles and others and still feels "clubby" enough to hook in old fans, "All Woman" is just an amazingly smooth R&B anthem that was Lisa's third #1 on the black charts in the U.S.; other favorites include "Make Love To Ya", "Set Your Loving Free", "A Little More Love", "First Joy" etc. Again, this is a softer side of Lisa but cemented her position as one of the world's best female singers. It was at this stage that Lisa reached an "international superstar" plateau by completing a successful world tour on four continents and contributing to the "Freddie Mercury Concert" and "The Bodyguard" soundtrack. Long live Queen Lisa!!
