The Benfleet mix is a much overlooked deep house delight, and one my favourite Ian O'Brien productions. Lisa takes a back seat… all that remains of her are some tripped out vocals, which are relegated to background echoes , whilst Ian gets jazzy over swirling chords, a solid 4/4 beat, and a numb throb of a bassline. It works as it is, but pitch it down a notch and it is even better. And look how cheap it is!
