Not gold, rather a transparent vibrant orange. Outraged! (not really)

Both these LLS Cosmic Echoes colored vinyl reissues are decent. I agree with Shimmel that they do have some kind of reverb ambiance going on, but it's good. I don't notice any mono or narrowing of the soundstage; that part is fine. Both of mine have a slight edge/dish warp, but it's minor. The records are mostly centered and they do look very nice. Only gripe is that they made no effort to reproduce the center label of the original LP.
These two complete my Cosmic Echoes collection! Worth picking up.

Well, after a couple more listens, I have changed my mind about the mono sound of it BUT there is something unique about the mix that I can't quite put my finger on. It sounds kind of live or a little echoey or cacophonous in places . Really good!

Beautiful sounding pressing! "Gold " vinyl is more of a transparent orange yellow, which I've seen before with originals from the seventies ( not this album, mind you). The mix on here sounds as if its monaural. I don't own an original to compare. Anybody else hear this verses an orignal? It sounds great, but nowhere on the sleeve does it claim to be mono. Just curious.

Great funky jazz album. Only thing that I utterly hate on this album is the really bad vocals luckily the instrumentals are what are the real meat of this album. The instrumentals are top notch with a very eastern melodic fortitude and the band is tight.

Very beautiful album. Stunning sounds all the way. Really good space jazz.

Mindblowin! This album will take you on a voyage. As always Lonnie seeks to take us 'out there'. And he does it oh so well!
