Classic Arthur Russell 7" from the depths of West End's vaults. Timely re mastered from the original tapes...

This is a different version to the Soul Jazz 12" released in 2003 with more moog bleeps and a slower tempo and has never been commercially available on vinyl (track run time 2:45). It also includes the uptempo freakout rare as hens teeth 'Instrumental Mix'. Original 7"s going for up to £200 on discogs and only 12 people in the world showing they own a copy. This release never got past promo stage at West End in 1980.

I ended up buying a copy from Juno in the UK a few days after RSD. Was this ever available in the USA? No copies listed on Discogs are from US sellers.
