Being a lifer in the department of italo disco superfreak, it never ceases to amaze me when I think I've heard every single italo song out there and then one enters from out of nowhere. I don't know how I missed this one when I originally obtained it in my personal collection of italo disco music, but when I listened to it again a few weeks back, I was mezmerized by how amazing "Rocks Mumbling Cha Cha Cha" is! I immediately have changed many of my "top italo disco list of all time" to include this song because it's very nice. What we have here is a male vocalist rapping about "rocks mumbling" slapped over one of the best synthesizer-driven backdrops I've ever heard! The song is very similar in style to "Holiday Rap" by MC Miker & Deejay Sven, except that song achieved major chart success all over Europe, while this one is much less known, but is in my opinion about 50 times better. The b-side, "Summer In The Dark" is a variation of the a-side, except you have different slower vocals and twitched synths. It's also a very nice production, but I definately prefer the amazingness of "Rocks Mumbling Cha Cha Cha". I would say this one is very comparable to the synth/vocal work done on "Come On Closer" by Pineapples and "Tarzan Loves The Summernight" by Big Ben Tribe.
