This was L.T.D's first album, but A&M records lists TWO different catalog numbers for it - SP-3047, calling the group Love, TENDERNESS and Devotion; and SP-3602, calling the group Love, TOGETHERNESS and Devotion. I have the TOGETHERNESS album, which states on the rear slick that this is the group's FIRST album.
DOES ANYONE KNOW IF SP-3047, L.TENDERNESS and D. was actually released?

I just bought this, and I was suprised on how much I would like it. It sounds nothing like the polished sound of L.T.D. that we are used to (you know when Jeffrey Osborne just dominated the sound), in fact I like it because it shows their development as a band. I might go as far as to say that they have an early Earth, Wind & Fire influence, you know, before Phillip Bailey got there, and the first two albums with him. Songs like "To The Bone" and "Elegant Love", kind of have that "Flower Child" feeling. Don't worry though, Jeffrey's voice is very much prominate here. With that being said, I personally don't know why this fell through the cracks. This is an Excellent record, period.
