Despite all the respect I truly hope that Luke will learn from a grave mistake to hire 'vocal talents' of Ricky Barrow because 'Alright on Top' instead of being a descent and in Luke's typical enigmatic, a blastfully orgasmic electronic pop record, it sounds like an average trendy dancefloor smash of today, nothing special, more pompous in the wake of his previous excellent two albums. 'Nothing At All' sounds like a very bad cover of Madonna's 'Ray of Light' which Barrow only improves his pretentious lyrics to drown in repetition. Luckily, 'Freek Funk' and 'Wireless' will soothe me on this one until next time. Luke might be a visionary but visions sometimes fail us, don't they? I wish him his next record a recovery.
