If you absolutely had to own a Lulu album, this one is far and away the one you should have. From the early days of Muscle Shoals Sound Studios, The Swampers and Duane Allman back her on this collection of covers from Barry and Maurice Gibb to Mac Davis to Dave Mason to Alabama session man Eddie Hinton. Some amazing musicianship on here, down-home funky southern soul. Don't be fooled by her pretty English pop "To Sir With Love" days, this is her "Dusty In Memphis" record and it cooks even harder than that album!
