Yugoslavian New Wave scene produced both - thrilling and conformist pieces of music alike; Luna, which had the decency to release their sole masterpiece, a long sought-after self-titled debut remains a strong testament in Ex-Yugoslavian New Wave's treasures. Their sound may have been typical in search for the right identity - alternative rock embraced by strong, biting guitars and dark bass lines with equally confident drumming and prevailing melancholy despite smashing numbers such as 'Fakir' or 'Povratak' ('Return').

Bauhaus and X-Mal Deutschland might have been their obvious influences of the time, but Luna did cut an album, authentic as it is, all of their own. A deservedly acclaimed effort indeed.
