Cover songs are one of my passions, and if Galaxie 500, Luna, or Dean & Britta are laying one out, then I’m on board. Though ... along with the album artwork for Outdoor Miner, this has to me one of the most disturbing images out there, perhaps more suited for the Luna cover of the Alice Cooper song “Only Women Bleed.” Never the less, Luna presents a fresh take on the Donavan song “Season Of the Witch,” a track that would not show up anywhere, until the release of Lunafied, and has never been played live. There are two other tripped out numbers, “23 Minutes In Brussels,” which will just flatten you, and “Lost In Space,” a quite little song that’s lost in a hypnotic drug induced haze ... with both being available on the Penthouse release. “Indian Summer,” a Beat Happening cover is presented here again for the third time, another dynamic song from Luna that would never make its way onto an album proper, that is until Lunafied, where for the first time you won’t have to shell out Import prices for this amazing number.

The 10" vinyl EP tracks at 45 rpm for "Season Of The Witch," with the B-Side tracking at 33 1/3 rpm.
