The feel of "Roll The Rice" playing while driving in "NFS IV : High Stakes" or "Leave You Far Behind" in "The Matrix" is uncomparable. And so is the rest of "Metropol".
Most of the songs are in the big beat vein ("The Sound", "Choke", "Metropol" and "It Evolves On Its Own"). Oh yes !
However "Long Shadows" and "Meltdown" bring some... calm, but it's not boring at all. The whole CD remains a perfect video game soundtrack.

This temple of boom ain't for everyone, for sure. Will current Tomorrowland party people like this ? Do they ever know Lunatic Calm ? Not sure ! It will be a "Choke".

Need to let off steam ? Burn your speakers or headphones with this.

i wonder which morons give for this album less than 5 stars. you should clean your ears from hit-parade music.

Rated 3/5
...and I say the idea behind this project was really innovating
but the result I think is not for everybody´s ears.
In my opinion too much of the below- mentioned trashing drum lines in every song.
Neon ray is the absolute highlight for me on this album, it has a hypnotic sound
you can´t escape. Choke is also really good, the rest is innovating but maybe a bit

Lunatic Calm creates a melodik hypnotik soundscape of meloncoly sounds and thrashing drum lines. Wicked synth lines & beats till you heart's content. There's not a single track on this CD that you can't dig. Ok, maybe you've heard "Leave You Far Behind" one to many times, but that doesn't make it a bad track. The intro is quite pointless, but that doesn't take away from the quality of this CD 5 STARS I say, awesome production.
