This is the spot where you put your finger down, knowing where you stand, and where you’re standing is in the heart of the contemporary Chicago blues scene, where gutsy style and soulful blessings stand toe to toe, delivering a fluid sound that will outlast the test of time ... and then some. Remember, this was 1974, and artists like Luther Allison were just beginning to gain the recognition they so rightfully deserved, having stood in the shadows of the white musicians such as John Mayall and Eric Clapton, whom certainly championed the cause, but were far from the real deal.

Sure, you can get the sonically remastered CD with some bonus material, but wouldn’t you like to hear what these cats were laying down with the warmth and integrity they intended you to hear?
