With 8 singles out of 10 songs and 2.5 million copies sold worldwide, this is one of the most successful Spanish albums of the decade. Palabra De Mujer includes great 90s dance classics such as Desátame, Entender El Amor or Pantera En Libertad and cheerful pop tunes as Las Campanas Del Amor or Tú Y Yo Volvemos Al Amor, but also beautiful and heartbreaking ballads, highlighting Empiezo A Recordarte and Ámame O Déjame. Mónica's powerful and versatile voice makes you feel different emotions throughout the album, and can bring you from ecstasy to crying in a moment. Though they can't be heard, her image and expressivity on stage are also worth checking out.
In short, Palabra De Mujer is a must for any 90s dance-pop lover, but also for those who can appreciate moving love songs.
