The melodic "Here It Comes" with its children's chorus was the obvious single, and "Back to the Grill" is the star-studded tag-team anthem of its day, but it's a little-known masterwork, the album cut "Don't Have to Be", that puts this release over the top. Like the rest of the album, it sounded dated almost as soon as it came out, but the rap is on point, the bassline is wicked, and the message is unique. "I can be the U.S. and don't haf'ta war"... "I can be in London, don't haf'ta like rain"... brilliant!
