I bought the remixes on basement a few years back never knowing what they were remixes of, the originals are a lot more tougher while the remixes stay true to the heavenly smooth basement sound of the time

I can still remember when Dave & Shaun first brought me a Test Press of this wicked Old Skool EP.
They used to pop down to my store 'The Record Basement' regularly and were big fans of the my label Basement Records. I can remember listening to it and loved the Monged Out & Seance tracks.
Four blistering tracks that were never given the play they deserved back at the time of release, now many years later, a truly sought after gem. This was the reason Jack & I remixed the track with the boys at the Basement Studio. We felt they deserved to get noticed and wanted to help them on their way. The remixes got alot of attention especially from Randall who first played the track at World Dance, also heavily supported by Top Buzz, Ratty, Micky Finn, Kenny Ken and LTJ Bukem.
