Notes

Before The Verdict contains alternate tracks from Guilty Simpson's Ode to the Ghetto, recorded with new vocal performances and new beats, together with new tracks. The album also contains a previously-unreleased demo from 2004, "Life Goes By," executive-produced by J Dilla with Guilty Simpson over Madlib's beat from Madvillain's "All Caps".

This version has cover-art, which was hand-silkscreened from a collection of images created by Gustavo Eandi (Argentina), Jeff Jank, and Hit+Run. Each cover is one-of-a-kind and numbered on the back. Between approximately 2000 and 2500 copies of this version were pressed.

The barcode number can only be found on the plastic shrink wrap. Therefore, copies sold without the plastic shrink wrap will not have a barcode.

Every variation of the artwork of this limited-edition release should be listed here.

no idea what happened in the mastering...but the record sounds quite bad (much worse than other madlib lo-fi releases..)
