By cutting this reissue at a lower volume than the original 92' U.S. "Special Limited Edition DJ Set", they were able to remove the sibilance found on some of the inner tracks-namely "Deeper And Deeper" and "Theif Of Hearts". Overall, the album's low end plays tighter throughout, and the quality of the pressing is superior-no surface noise, none.

With that said, the album sounds a bit thin-I still prefer the original U.S. Promo release which was also a quality pressing. The bass on the 92' release (courtesy of Shep Pettibone who was making incredibly murky bass lines back then) plays very deep and dirty, adding to the "feeling" of the album. Thinking about it now, I would have preferred they kept the original mastering, and instead, moved "Deeper And Deeper" to the opening flip side, furthermore limited 3 songs per side, and possibly dropping the throwaway "Did You Do It?", and maybe even "Why's It So Hard"😬.

Could anyone who has this pressing and the one from 2012 (8122-79735-6) - or who has had the chance to listen to both - comment on the sound quality between them? Is it louder? Quieter? Much appreciated.

Is the artwork any better (on this or any of the new pressings) than the weird photocopied one from 2012?

Is the reissue really a US edition or the European?
