Excellent release this.
I purchased this being a Stones Throw fan, not an addict but i really love the stuff the label's put out so far, my musical priorities just lie somewhere else to be abble to say I'm a STes conaisseur.
However, this release seemed interesting and I bought it to be blown away when getting at home.
Where Madvillain is in most cases a bit cold and dark for me, Four Tet manages to give it a warmer twist, by focussing on the beats instead of the vocals.
The instrumentals therefor are a great bonus but the a-side with the remixes is what it's all about on this release,
Stones Throw quality that looks further then any hip hop label, I'm really sorry to use that cliché again but that's just the way it is.
Quality release, made me a bigger Stones Throw fan and has me looking up and purchasing Four Tet stuff.
