not the best repress, rather disappointed with the sound quality

Bought a NOS sealed copy from a local store, VMP outer sleeve, artwork, and booklet but it does not have any masterdisk stamp in the runout and no silver foiled numbering. Can anyone chime in if they have the masterdisk stamp in their deadwax? Thankfully the copy plays nicely, just bummed I paid a lot more for this when it's looking like it's the same stampers as today's umpteenth repress.

Does anyone know if this is a gatefold? Stone's Throw tends to be cheap with its packaging.

Snagged one of these from my local for only a few dollars more than the CD. I gotta be honest the sound quality of the repressing leaves a lot to be desired, it's pretty muddy sounding. Worse is the pressing quality, my LP1 is severely off center and is impossible to queue properly. LP2 is centered but plays with non-fill on both sides. Stranger still LP2 is clearly 180 grams while LP1 is definitely less. My local will not exchange for me however I contacted Stones Throw and they are letting me swap (!), kudos to the label so far and hopefully the second try will be better. Unfortunately, I think these were pressed at Rainbo. Please share your experiences with this release!!

Earlier leaked version is about a million times better than the official release, where DOOM doesn't sound like he's moments away from falling asleep... and actually spits with some passion. Still, official version is aight, but those older vocal takes were waaaay better, in my opinion.

Hey. Does anyone know if tracks '(not titled)', which would be first on the list, and '(no title; mistake I.D. on the CD)', which would be between last two, as mentioned in this old Stones Throw Post: https://archive.is/xQPQA actually exist?, or if they're fake or part of something else?. Thank you. Peace.

In the early 2000's, MF DOOM was my favorite MC and Madlib was my favorite beat producer. When this collab was announced, It was the most anticipated album for me of all time. It was at least 6 months before anymore news broke, and all of a sudden.... the album was leaked into cyber space....someone stole the album and leaked it,so DOOM and Madlib went back to square one and rewrote the whole album....I couldn't' wait any longer, I had the LP pre-ordered from sandbox automatic. When it was finally released, what more can I say...It was everything I could of hoped for in a DOOM/Madlib collab; spacey deep groove beats littered with jazz samples. Super stoney sound, like a blunt was being smoked in the studio nonstop. DOOM sounds especially inspired and it shows with his trademark flow and poetic clever lyrics....In my top 5 hip-hop albums of all time. I still have my Madvillian original promo poster released with the pre-order.

Just picked up a new, sealed copy for $17 total at store and it sounds great, but the first vinyl is 180g and the 2nd vinyl is 140g. All is well though because the price was good and it sounds great. Just a bizarre issue.

This is only the third cassette I've bought but damn the quality is amazing. I was expecting a lot of crackling but it sounds really clean. I guess there's a little too much on the low end but that's me being picky.
