I remember hearing the Techno Mix on so many mixes back in the day. I guess it's not the most obscure or sought after track, but i reckon pretty much all of us that were around at this time know it and have a bit of a soft spot for it. When i think back now I tend to remember it as a bit of a commercial track for the time (probably cause of the Stock / Waterman association), but when i actually listen to it, it really was a great wee tune cause it's got a little bit of everything:- some house, some acidy techno, and a healthy bit of piano's (and i'll admit probably a decent dose of nostalgia in there now too).

As for it being a Malcolm McLaren remix, it was kinda like finding out about another track not so long before that was a Bananarama remix. Anything could be made great in those days. A great time for dance music.
