"AELITA" - A Vast Departure For MANDO DIAO Into Electro/Synth, Which Is Actually Beautiful, Haunting & Quite Mesmerizing!!
The Band Have Been Quoted That "There Is No MANDO DIAO Sound; They Are Always Evolving". While I May Prefer The Earlier Garage Rock Genre, This Is A Very Talented, Creative Band...Whatever Genre MANDO DIAO Turn Toward, They Master!

This Time Out, It Would Seem They've Studied The Works Of New Order & A Very Early Depeche Mode. It Would Be Very Easy To Insert Almost Any Song On "AELITA" Into The Soundtrack Of The 1988 Michael J. Fox Classic Cult Movie Favorite About 80's Excess Lifestyles In "Bright Lights, Big City" Novel By Jay McInerney. They Would Blend In Seamlessly, Especially "Black Saturday", "Money Doesn't Make You A Man" & "If I Don't Have You".

Track #4 Is A Standout!! It Is A Gorgeous Composition Executed To Perfection By MANDO DIAO (And The Jacket For "AELITA" Is, In Itself, A Work Of Art!!
