Marc's first solo album found him throwing off the Soft Cell futurist mantle and embracing the international torch singer persona that had been struggling to break free on that duo's 4 albums. Filled with some of his first solo classics ("Tenderness is a Weakness"; a more rocking version of "The Boy Who Came Back" than it's single release; the sublime "You Have"), it was the start of an exceptionally imaginitive period in his career and well worth seeking out, even at high import prices.
