Marco Bailey ‎– Faint Hope

Bedrock Records ‎– BEDMBDIGI 01
4 × File, MP3, WAV, EP

Following on from his awesome 'Dragon Man' album, Belgium's leading electronic artist returns with a truly spectacular EP. Lead track 'Faint Hope' is a real moment of beauty for Bailey, very laid back and with 'end of night' tune stamped all over it, it is something excitingly fresh from the superstar talent. 'Sa Trinxa' and 'Bom Bang!' are more down the line of his typical sound, while completing the hefty package is a rocking new Dave Angel remix of 'Rubber Band'. Quality EP not to be missed!!

If you got here, you discovered one of my favorite hidden gems after 20 years of diggin'. 'Faint Hope' is much like Frank Wilson's Northern Soul classic 'Do I love you'. Literally everybody who I play this song to is dancing on it. From the garbage men at my house to Ibiza rave friends at 6AM with the sun coming up. An undestroyable and hypnotising classic by any means. I heard it like a 200 times before and the good vibe stays the same. Every single time. The song grows and it has to grow on you, but it fits in almost any set. Which is normally only reserved to the Daft Punk's of this world. Incredible production Marco, I would play and play it again even at my funeral.
