The Hot Tub dub on this release is absolutely incredible.

This Remix EP by Kim Da Silva and Maurice Conroy contains material that was previously released on the EP "New Concepts in Audio" by Audio One. The Marco Polo Remix EP, however, gives no credit to the Audio One release (at least not on the label). On the Audio One release Da Silva is credited for "Samples & Additional Arrangement ". On both records it says that they were recorded at "The Fortress of Solitude" in London. It seems likely then that Audio One (aka Jörg Burger) and Da Silva collaborated on the first release, and that Da Silva later reused the material for the Marco Polo EP, which also contains the "Original Version" and the "Hot Tub Dub". When you listen very closely though you will notice some slight differences in both these mixes on the two releases. For example: the "Original Version" on the Marco Polo EP uses the "Do It" sample in a few places where the Audio One version doesn't. On the other hand the "Hot Tub Dub" of the Audio One release has a little bit more percussion than the "Hot Tub Dub" on the Marco Polo EP. For a casual listener these difference will be hardly noticeable, however, especially in the "Original Version". In fact, I became aware of them only when I closely listened to both releases for this comment, and ran the records side by side on the left and right speaker of my headphones.
