I bought this for the Noisia remix, and while I still think it's an amazing tune, there's something about this version that doesn't sit right with me... Some of you may remember the original clip that was uploaded to Youtube when it surfaced (It kept on getting taken down by Toolroom) - this version of the tune was considerably different. My main problem with the final release is that when the drop kicks in, it doesn't have the weight to it that the original clip had and it just sounds like it's being over compressed... I've referenced both the vinyl and digital release, and they're both the same, so it's not a format issue. The only thing I can think is that the mastering engineer didn't really know what they were doing, or maybe Noisia cocked it up at the mixdown stage, but considering the original clip was perfect, it doesn't really make much sense...
