This is a new minimalist ambient music. The vibrations are thick. The resonances are subtle and provocative. This is a mantra music that lulls one from observable existence to one that exists only in a state of trance.

But this is not the hokey-pokey, touchy-feely ambientia of the starry-eyed New Ageists. Instead it is a more sobering and profoundly moving category of (so-called) ambient music that is genuine and engaging. It is magnificent in its beauty.

"Herbstlaub" is something different and special, and is the logical follow-up to his other masterpiece, "Lazy Sunday Funerals".

(For the meaning of "Herbstlaub", see the reply to this.)

Ethereal, dreamy, beautiful, voluptuous... I can't find enough words to express my love for Herbstlaub. The blossom that is Herbstlaub will take your mind up to heaven during 39 minutes of classical beauty. Every note played by the string instruments provides enough magic to charm even the darkest souls. Since I have the chance to speak french, I can understand how poetic the tracks are titled. Here is the translations :

1- Haulm of Fall
2- From a Swan’s Death
3- Dawn
4- Eagle’s Wing
5- Every Heart on Earth
6- Song of the Evening

Thank you, Marsen Jules, for writing such delicate music.
