Indeed: warped and awful sound. Stay away from this copy.

Do not buy this pressing, sound quality is atrocious and my copy was so warped it could be use as a fruit bowl.

I have the same black vinyl version as jahjah.

Anyone know if they did a black vinyl release in 2008 alongside the sickly beige vinyl version. I can't find any earlier releases with the TS-310 Tamla label and these same matrix numbers. It actually looks like a 1970s / early 80s pressing and comes from a collection that would bear this out.

I have a black version with these details:

Matrix / Runout (Side A - Etched): S 35943 De BPS
Matrix / Runout (Side B - Etched): S 35944 RE1 De BPS

So it should be beige but mine is a black copy.

Agree with previous poster, sound on beige reissue is terrible. And, it is an ugly pressing - looks like puke. Save your nickels, get the original pressing.

quality of the beige vinyl reissue is atrocious, unlistenable - at least my copy was.

One of those essential albums that should be part of your will and passed on from generation to generation
