this is quite a rare 45 from sweden released in 1967 for the single stewball by the great swedish 60s beat band the mascots, though i have been a fan of the mascots for years and have most of there catlog on 4 cds i bought this 45 as it features a cover of so sad about us by THE WHO!!!!! the mascots did a great cover of that classic from 1966, anyway this has a typical scandanavian sleeve that opens up from the top down to the bottom and as you can see BOTH sides of the sleeve have great looking mod style shots of the band members, my favorite swedish 60s beat band is annaabee knox.... this was released on a swedish label called hep house records

i never heard the a side STEWBALL but i have the so sad about us who cover that came with a really nice hardcover photo book called THE WHO IN SWEDEN back in 1996. the photos consist of the whos swedish tours in 1966/67 and 68 and besides the fact that the photos are so amazing the book came with a cd that consists of a bunch of 60s swedish garage bands like the mascots doing who covers, i have yet to find this 45 but i love this version so at some point i hope to own a copy......
