A true slept on gem from '04 that heads should still be noddin to today! The breezy smooth Jerry Butler sample laced with a nice neck snapping drum loop all courtesy of Khrysis (still one of the most underrated producers who's been on the "the grind" in hip hop for the better part of the last decade). Lyrically, Masta covers the general struggles with grindin and hustling day in and day out whether through a 9-5, career, music, dealin, etc just to get by in life. Although this topic has always been documented in countless amounts of hip hop tracks over history, Masta Ace really delivers it in such a sincere, down to earth, and humble manner that it should relate to everyone regardless of your situation in life. Easily one of the strongest cuts off A Long Hot Summer (which as a whole is one of the top hip hop releases in 04 in my opinion)
