One of the greatest French Disco tracks ever... Max Berlin (aka: Jean Pierre Cerrone) is rumoured to be the brother of French disco god Cerrone. Dream Disco was Max Berlin's first release, recorded in June of 1978 and released on Cerrone's Malligator record label. From the spoken intro (a young girl asking her Dad if her Mummy is still in heaven!) the track ascends into a full blown spacey disco extravaganza. The rhythm pounds away and the arrangement is super tight. At just over 11 minutes long the track is well worth playing all the way through. Perhaps a little too strange for some dancefloors but well worth taking a chance on.

Unique example of post-existentialist disco. Epic music with infinitely sad but hopeful spokenwords. A must-have for discolovers and freaky vinyl junkies.
