Anyone who's interested in electronic music should own at least one MBM album, I think. They have brought so much influence, they helped to build acts such as Nine Nails Nails or The Chemical Brothers.
This release reminds of the Front Line Assembly stuff but with more compact breakbeats, proof of their excellent production.
"Prime Audio Soup" has brought them some more recognization thanks to The Matrix. If the first half of the album is quite rhythmical, the second one is more structured and offer some calm moments like the 10-minute running "The Thumb".
You won't regret your 72 minutes of listening. Let's have fun !

Jack Dangers pushes MBM's sound further with the addition of powerful live instrumentation and some dark jazz touches. Some songs irritate with grating, repetitive motifs, but most of the album succeeds with memorable songs, creepy atmospherics and dense, muscular production.
