This Group has been known among hardcore collectors of European Prog Rock for quite a few years."Estrechas Calles De Santa Cruz" was released on a minor label "Aphrodite"& consequently is very hard to find today.

Mediterraneo in 1978 published his first album, "Narrow streets of Santa Cruz" with Aphrodite Records label Alicante. The album, still being distributed only at Valencia, would be a success thanks to the many fans that the group had been dragging along their concerts.

Mediterraneo is presented with a progressive music not without touches of pop music, we demonstrated in "roll cloud", an instrumental of 12 minutes duration, with a large dose of improvisation. "Narrow streets of Santa Cruz", the song that gives title track is a mix of classical piano and subtle guitars that make up a soft instrumental song, which joins the voices of Victor Carratalá, full of sound nuances. Meanwhile, a sound more cheerful, more Mediterranean, is reflected in the songs "Mandrake" and "Mediterranean", the latter combined with a touch of jazz.
