Megadeth ‎– So Far, So Good... So What!

I have 2 different versions of this publication and below I list the main features of each:

Version 1 (which corresponds to this card but must be implemented):
-The print color tone of the cover is lighter and the prevailing color degree of the front is brown (the back also varies)
-The inner sleeve is printed in light tones and contains only the Capitol logo,

-Matrix Runout A: (Hetched) 7481481-A - 11-1-88 I ∆ MEGADETH,
plus (Hand Etched) M.S. (mastered by Marcussen Stephen)
-Matrix Runout B: (Hetched) 7481481-B - 11-1-88 I ∆ MEGADETH

Version 2 (for which I propose to make a new tab):
-The print color tone of the cover is darker and the prevailing color degree of the front is green (the back also varies), the Combat logo also appears on the back
Barcode 0 7777-48148-1 followed by an almost invisible superscript 2
-The inner sleeve is printed in dark tones and in addition to the Capitol logo it also prints the Combat logo
-Matrix Runout A: (Hetched) 7481481-A - 11-1-88 I ∆ MEGADETH,
plus (Hand Etched) M.S. (mastered by Marcussen Stephen), as per Version 1
-Matrix Runout B: (Hetched) ● 7481481-B - 11-1-88 I ∆ ● MEGADETH

This comparison analysis on my copies motivates my proposal to generate a new version and therefore a new schedule.

Hi I need help. I have a run out that looks similar to this. I have not found anything that matches. Reading from the inside to the outside:

Does not have "Combat" on the black labels. On the side 2 label "A" and "T" are a stamped with the hole between the letters, top to bottom.

For a picture disc, sounds good but unfortunately has the, in my personal opinion, inferior 2004 remix. I got this at a used record store for not very much just to have this album. Have since got this release https://www.discogs.com/Megadeth-So-Far-So-Good-So-What/release/1064801 , an og UK press that's reasonably priced. Of course has the 1988 original mix and the pressing sounds spectacular.

My version has Matrix / Runout: CDP 748148 2 @ 2 . 2-4-3-NL

With the French price code removed from r 1683397, which my copy has, I'm a bit puzzled as to which exact pressing of the album I have. Wonder if I'm missing something, or if it's a variant not present in the database yet?

My copy:

PM 516 French price code present in the inlay rear barcode
"Made in Holland", BIEM STEMRA, LC0148 label code on disc
CDP 748148 2 @ 2 2-1-6-NL maxtrix runout, but no mould or mastering SID codes.

[r = 5073628] comes the closest of the currently present pressings, but has mould SID codes.

The French distribution exclusive by EMI Pathè Marconi S.A. has a golden sticker with the PM 264 code

There is a lot of gems on this record, with a little wondering in consistency. Into the Lungs of hell, Set the work Afire, Mary Jane, Darkest Hour and Hook in Mouth are amongst Megadeth's best. The other tracks are very good as well but just sort of feel out of place. Megadeth has always had a few tracks on their records that are all technically good but will have something that makes them sort corny. I enjoy that Megadeth has always had tracks that are different from the rest and it gives the records some variety even if they are weaker than the best ones.

As for this pressing. It sounds great. Have owned the original CD release and besides the production issues with this record the quality is good. I have the newer remixes as well and there are some parts that sound better than the OG mixes but they suffer from the loudness war.
