This is a great box, if you're debating getting it, get it while it can be had at (or below) the original list price. Everything's high quality, except as mentioned by others the pins of the buttons put lots of dents in the MOP LP sleeve. I get that presentation-wise they wanted the buttons to be facing out when you open the box but man...we've already *bought* the box if we're seeing them. Turn them around and save the sleeve!

The endless hours of live concerts and interviews as well as the rough mixes are great, but for me the big draw is the book. There are a lot of great modern day retrospectives by people who were there, and there are tons of letters and articles reproduced in tiny print. This book will take a long time to absorb completely - which is alright, you've got about 18 hours of Master of Puppets content to listen to/watch.

Can anyone tell me if this pressing of Master Of Puppets included in this box set skips like the 2014 pressing? The 2014 pressing would not even play on my Sony turntable it just skidded across it, so i recently purchased an Audio-Technica turntable and it plays but still has it's minor issues. I would love to purchase this set but I do not want to end up with another skipping Master vinyl. Please help a fellow vinyl lover out. Thanks.

Really nice set, only gripe was the packing which had the pin pack sitting on top of the vinyl MOP cover leaving little dents all over it when it shipped to Australia. Other than that an amazing set, still going through the content weeks later.

Love this box set. I was just wondering if anyone knows....why did they cut out "The Munsters theme" out of Kirk's solo on the live cassette of Cliff's Last Show? But it is in Kirk's solo on the double live LP Chicago, IL 1986. I was thinking maybe due to legal reasons but then they would have cut it out of the Chicago show as well. I have had the 2LP vinyl bootleg and live cassette bootleg of the Stockholm Sweden 9/26/86 (Cliff's Last Show) for 20+ years so i def know it is supposed to be in there. I love this live show and was important to me to get the download because it was Cliff's last gig and have been jamming it for years so i was a little upset that they cut his guitar solo like they did. If anyone has any info it would be much appreciated.

The edition is a crap, basically because the pressing was made in Germany by Pallas . It´s a cheap pressing and the final result is a consequence. Bellman is great and Grundman and Sterling are a guarantee. But the expensive thing is the pressing and here Metallica chose the cheap way, sadly for all. The best vinyl pressing plants in the world are in USA like Record technology Incorporated that Rubin used in DEATH MAGNETIC. WHAT A VINYL PRODUCTION!!!!
