This is one of those Prince tunes - like "Nothing Compares 2 U" or "I Feel For You" - that just wouldn't rest until it was covered by at least two major name artists. "Nothing" of course was first covered by The Family, and then made a mega-hit by Sinead O'Connor; "Feel" was first covered by the Pointer Sisters (but only as an album track,) after which the song was covered once again, this time by Chaka Khan... and of course you know the rest... Unfortunately Mica didn't quite have the same success that Sinead or Chaka had on their outings... partially because Prince's wife, Mayte, also covered the song - three times actually: once in Spanish on her CD "Children Of The Sun" in its original Spanish version released outside the states, then again but in English on the compilation "1-800-NEW-FUNK" and then again in English on the domestic version of her "Children" CD. It seems poor Mica got lost in the shuffle of promoting Mayte's version(s) - neither of which were bad, but neither of which were as good as Mica's.
