I think the comments so far are a bit overly harsh.

Yes, it is quite noisy compared to my other records. Glow-in-the-dark vinyl is especially notorious for this, so that is to be expected (just like with all the MJ picture disc releases, picture discs are horrible). But unless you’re an audiophile it is very well listenable. The noise is mostly only noticeable between tracks, but while the music plays it sounds fine to me. The mastering is good and full of energy (although i have to admit i have no other MJ releases to compare with).

The only thing I’d like to have seen different with the packaging is the addition of clear poly sleeves around the vinyl, for protection. They probably left it out to make it as transparent as possible (for the glow to be mostly noticeable), but the current way of packaging makes the records prone to scratching. But it’s easy enough to fix this yourself with some third party poly sleeves. The packaging looks really badass with the additional glow in the dark areas and the way they interact with the vinyl design, so I get why the they did it like this.

The track selection is also good. They fit the theme well, go well together, and none of them are boring. Real MJ purists will probably frown at it, but it has a fun factor that you won’t find on a re-release of an official album.

What I would really like is a re-release of History Book 1, cause the 1995 originals go for crazy prices, but until then this is will probably be my favourite MJ release.

SO much noise... shocking. I really didn't expect anything less from the MJ Estate

Very bad release. Lot of noise !!! I'm dissapointed !!!

I found out that the plastic sleeve itself is luminous; both the front and the back! The large circle on the reverse side is actually the moon. If you keep the luminous splattered blue vinyl in the sleeve, expose it to bright light, then view in a dark room, the effect is absolutely stunning! Similarity with the front side; Michael's face is itself luminous and the effect is intensified if the luminous vinyl album is in the sleeve when viewed in the dark. Sadly, the pressing is horrible, TONS of surface noise when played (especially noticed between tracks). But. Overall, I think it's a well thought out and lovely artifact. And (currently) not expensive either. I have no idea how many have been produced, but as with a lot of Michael's unusual editions, it's probably set to become collectable and sought after.

I am a little bit dissapointed about the packaging. The Cover Art is beautiful but for the vinyl it is horrible. Only put in a thick printed poly sleeve, seperated through 12" cardboard (which is although the offered Poster on the front and for the credits on the rear). Nearly impossible to get one without surface scratched. The japanese had put the vinyl in clear polysleeves. But the effect looks on the blue vinyl like a starry sky. The Design of the cover allow the complete glow vinyl to shine through in a dark room.
So take care by release the vinyl out of the sleeve and buy clear polysleeves to protect them.
About the meaningfulness of this release and the tracklisting i won't go into.
