back in 1983 or 1984 I remember seeing a picture disc CD of Thriller that was apparently the first. Which version is that here?

My copy of this release is on super flat vinyl with a very low noise floor. Super rare light pops that will likely resolve with cleaning. Huge soundstage with excellent instrumental separation. Ample low frequencies with punchy mid-bass. Overall, the tones are warm. Highs are crisp but not bright and the vocals are detailed and natural. Awesome through 2.1. The production quality of this album is so high and with a nearly perfect mix (IMHO). I wish the vocals were slightly more out front. I highly recommend this album. Michael Jackson was a genius. (Rega Planar 3, Exact 2 cart, PSE Studio SL, Linn LK85, Linn interconnects, Linn Katans, Linn Sizmik 12.45" for 2.1)

Hi - I have a version EPC 85930 with EPC 85930 A6 and EPC 85930 B/0 etched on the runout, but I can't seem to find a version with these listed – can anyone help?

Back of g/f sleeve also has CB 281, (58) , LC 0199, Interepak by Shorewood Packaging

Thanks!

My copy doesn't list MJJ as co producer. But etchings are: PAL 38112-IF/PBL 38112-IF. Someone has more information?

I have the promo of this album that I received from a guy who used to work for CBS Records. Is it worth more?

Lots of people crying about MJ releases. Do your due diligence and figure it the f*** out.. There is only one OG of this album, and it isn't hard to source.. Once you locate it, you will realize why he sold millions.

My Version has the same matching matrix/runout-P PAL 38112-2A and P PAL 38112-2B but the LP sleeve did not have Promo Copy stamp on back. I couldn't find another version with same runout. Any knowledge on this would be great.

Michael Jackson - Thriller should be merged with Michael Jackson - Thriller as the first one looks to simply be a variant of the 1st US pressing release. I tried merging them myself, but it wouldn't take the 726 release code for some reason and kept saying to enter two valid release IDs. I don't know.
