Can anyone provide more details on how this came about? I can certainly understand Tom Moulton mixing this in 1977, but how did it get into the hands of Patrick Cowley, unknown at the time, and on the West Coast, for additional work, and then to be released on West End at that? I never cared for this cut on the album, but after hearing the Moulton/Cowley combination--it just blew me away. It is so hypnotic and sounds way ahead of its time. Even though you can tell the exact part where Cowley takes over, the record is seamless. I would like to learn more of how this all came about.

The Cowley Mix is a hypnotic sprawler...great for DJ's who need a break...and totally a "everyone who has been waiting to fuck on the dance floor, now is the time" kinda track.

This one is a rare record because of the fantastic early 1977 remix by mr. Patrick Cowley PLUS because it is produced bij mr. Tom Moulton!! On this 12 inch you can hear the synthesizers of mr. Patrick Cowley for the first time ever on vinyl (as far as I know). This 12 inch was a fingerpractice for Cowley's later remixes of Donna Summers "I feel love" and Two Tons of Fun's "I got the feeling".
Disco Dance was fantasticly produced by Tom Moulton.
This record really blows your mind...

A great disco song, Tom Moulton at its best. The song has a constant 127bpm rhythm and is quite monotone and with very little, repeated vocals. It is also quite electronic for its age (like the moon-boots from o.r.s., for example). So you get a great song that can even be mixed with house music and despite the monotony, it's a killer all-time classic danceable song that leaves a spacey-ambient feeling in the air!
