RR-1, RR-2, OSS-1, OSS-2 and Mithring-1 were written for live performance as Octis. RDD-4, RDD-5, RDD-6, RDD-7, RDD-8 and RDD-9 were originally intended for use in Orthrelm but somehow became solo guitar pieces. IOMM-1, IOMM-2, DSS-1 and DSS-2 are variations on a very similar model. All things were written between the years 2002-2005. Thank you all.

Better than music, mor akin to a bionik glossolalia ov personal alien linguistix.
Compositions that require melodik and possibly rhythmik non-redundancy, like statements made by a living machine, a living kreation is kall'd a KREATUR, this one born in the mecha, phase IV, the next gen, fusion-evolv'd, fusiony-vil.
Implies a syntax and meta-struktur as if kryptology kould be kreativ, maybe an enkryption ov an organik machine language with corresponding note values or intervals or frequencies, horizontal is already digital, the 0 is the rest-note, the number ov 0s in a row ar the duration ov that rest-note, the 1 is the note, the number ov 1s in a row ar the duration ov that note, so the next vektor is vertikal for pitch, and there's at least a third, most likely a fourth, ov amplitude and timbre and intensity.
The impression upon the sentient percipient is one ov being TALKED TO by this disc.
Barr's work strikes me as attaining an implied sentience ITSELF, and though it may be talking mostly AT you, the principle of interaction exists for the percipient who notices that the identity ov the identical is that the same exact thing is different the second time.
Salute Zorn and Tzadik for framing this artist and his work deservedly.
I may kvetch but Tzadik def has some krucial vibe-circles hidin' in they katalogue, and along with Zorn and Sharp's String Quartets, and a handful ov others IMO, this disc is mandatory. It would be auspicious if SOMEONE could get KRONOS to lay down Barr's String Quartet; he's already made them a demo ov it on four guitars, which is also highly recommended.
