If you are a house DJ, particually in the electro/fidget front, this is probably the most essential record you need in your DJ bag.

Basically, it's a fidget remix of the 1990's hip-hop classic, 'Jump Around' by House Of Pain, but the reason why it gets the crowd going is because of the crazy electro bassline, choppy vocals and right in the middle of the tune - it goes into the original House Of Pain tune for about a minute and the crowd goes nuts!!!! It maybe a few years old, but this particular tune never dates.

It works every time I gig on the 1's and 2's and is essential for anyone who is a house DJ (yes, I know I just repeted myself!).

This is a killer electro house house track.I heard Micky drop this track in Birmingham and never even realised it was a remix, just some dj trickery. After the second listen the track is really infectious and you can`t get enough!
The production is excellent and the sounds and stabs fit perfectly together.People will go crazy to this track when dropped at the right moment on a big system.
I would get a copy if you can, rumours of a major release seem to be unfounded over a year since its release.
Awesome tune.

Micky Slim's "Jump" is a really good remix of the House of Pain hit "Jump Around". Micky adds his funky style, full of stutters and sounds. In the middle of the song, he pauses and plays a piece of "Jump Around", then resumes to his version. Nice segue. Micky's mixing is creative and quite good, kind of reminiscent of the Chemical Brothers. An impressive sound that would get the crowd, well, jumping.

"Jump" is an impressive mix, and it's definitely worth a listen.
