This has a lovely low noise floor, as do so many Japanese pressed vinyl of course, but this mastering does little to improve on the regular Australian release. I've compared US, Aus, UK and this Japanese pressing, and none really do substantially better than the other. For the full rock experience you remember from the radio in 1982, I'd argue the original AUS masterings of the 1988 released Compact Disc beat all the vinyl versions I've heard and owned so far.

Or, play the vinyl on a Stereogram, circa late 70's. :)
