The A sie tune on "Keep that rhythm going" is one of the most dance floor effective tunes recorded under the Punish flag. Not really original, it is just a proper, full on techno DJ tool designed to rip clubs apart. It has this really strong 4x4 percussion pattern, heavy pressure released from the bass department, some quirky and shuffled sound effects throughout, with this really hypnotic and repetitive vocal hook to top it all off. Think of stuff like Hanoi Hanoi by Karl O'Connor & Peter Sutton, naturally, this is not as hard and grey, but just as effective. The hook gets the crowd hyped, while the slamming beat keeps your feet well above the dance floor podium.
It actually follows the same formula and sound pattern many other releases produced by Glenn Wilson & Mike Humphries, but it has that little extra something which makes me want to pick it out of the vinyl case rather than something else.
