Picked up a cheap used but still sealed copy of this yesterday. I must say, to my ears it sounds great. Despite having listened to this music many times in the last 25 years (via cd and streaming) this has never been one of my favorite Miles albums. I always found it difficult to digest but I kept trying because of how famous and influential it is. Because I never liked it that much I have never owned it on vinyl, until now. Banal as it sounds, this music sounded new to me when I played these lps for the first time the other day. Even without headphones, more detail and sonic richness came across that have really enhanced my appreciation and experience for what is an indisputable classic...but which I just never liked as much as other Miles Davis albums, especially its predecesor, In a Silent Way. I would recommend this pressing and say that this is one of the best sounding lps I own which has led me to really re-evaluate my own appreciation for this music and understand it in a totally different way.

Ridiculous. Opened it up and got Side 1, Side 2, Side 1, and Side 2. Waited to buy for 3 years and then this garbage. A little quality control at Sony would be nice. Should have gotten the MOFI in 2014.

The pressing is very good but far from my favorite Miles album. 4/5.

Miles Davis ‎– Bitches Brew 13548 88875111901 with a side four label on side three and four, I'm told it's not rare but it is inconvenient. The album does sound excellent.

sounds great, the dynamics and soundstage are huge. if you can get it moderately cheap you should pick it up.

This is a superb reissue and highly recommended considering the reasonable pricetag. The pressing is really very clean; my copy has a few rare pops here and there, but little to no surface noise, a very low noise floor and really nice, balanced sonics. The mastering is really dynamic and well balanced, with a good, full bass and a clear, shining top-end. Really great stuff.

Good recording but not my fave (so far) of Miles catalog. Of course, some pieces have this habit of growing in me so my review could very well change.

This is the same as the 2015 legacy pressing which seems to have used the 2009 MOV stampers, got nothing to compare it to but it sounds fine, quiet, flat, nice gatefold.
The best you'll get without spending a fortune on a clean original or Mofi I'd say.
