Another classic album created from the two 1956 sessions of the legendary quintet featuring Davis, Coltrane, Garland, Chambers and Jones. Again, it's like a live album recorded in the studio, and the 2005 release includes snippets of Davis giving instructions. A fantastic example of Hard Bop.
