I'm at a loss to describe the title song -- it's hilarious beyond words, but musically wretched, and Millie knows it. A few minutes into the tune, she admits, 'I know this song is stupid.' Her rap cash-in is somehow strangely endearing, and her Kurtis Blow imitation is side-splitting. Near the end, the KKK tries to induct Millie. The 'Loving Arms '81'/'The Rap '81'/'Stranger'/'The Rap '81 Reprise' medley is an epic funk ballad in which Millie tells a groupie tale that's totally absorbing, making Side 1 an alternate world of sound.

Side 2 is a little more straightforward, with a bombastic bluesty orchestrated shuffle, a funk ballad duet with Prince Phillip Mitchell, a sequencer-beat slappers cut replete with hesh guitar, a sad side-click piano ballad, a midtempo minor-key funk breakup song, and 'It's Gonna Take Some Time,' a breakup ballad reminiscent of Harvey Scales's best, with glorious horns.
