I've got the white label promo version of this release, which may or may not be different, I don't know. It's a great work of art but I'm a little disappointed that mine does not contain the "integrated mix" that NovaMute put on their Tresor Berlin 1992 CD compilation. All the elements are there, but just not seamlessly incorporated into one continuously long track that explores three phases of the track. I love the production and the fact that no other techno really sounds like it. That's how techno once was - you heard new and different sounds and styles all the time, not the same homogenized "style" such as "Goa Trance" or "Garage House" for instance. Producers of techno take note - this is a resounding early techno milestone. Unique and exciting, it demands detailed listening. Maybe not a dancefloor success story, but an enjoyable "song" - not "track". Listen for yourself, and enjoy the unique analog timbres afforded to the listener.
